Pure Genetics — Genetics & plant biotechnology

Pure Genetics

Pure Genetics is chartered as the group’s clean-genetics laboratory: to establish plant genetics in tissue culture, screen them for pathogens, and preserve them as a documented library from which cultivation starts.

Advancing Genetics. Cultivating Tomorrow.

Its work is designed to begin where a clonal supply chain is most fragile — an unverified genotype entering the line — and to end with a tested, accessioned plantlet ready for cultivation. Clean status is to be confirmed by testing, not assumed.

The plan gives every accession its own identity record from the culture vessel onward, so material can be walked back to its origin, and holds elite accessions in slow-growth storage with a cryopreserved backup, so no line depends on a single copy.

Commercial-scale cultivation, harvest, extraction and manufacture sit outside its scope. Pure Genetics is to supply clean starting material to the divisions that do that work.

Pure Genetics carries its own identity within the group.

Scope

  • Genetics intake and identity capture
  • In-vitro initiation and clean-up
  • Pathogen screening
  • Multiplication
  • Rooting and acclimatization
  • Slow-growth storage and cryopreservation
  • The accession register and library
  • Genetics transfer under agreement (planned)

Status

In development. Not yet operating.

Pure Genetics has a draft charter and draft operating documents under the group’s document control, not yet signed. Like every division of the group, it is not yet operating.

Status HTC Applied Sciences and its divisions are being built. No division is operating yet, and no group company holds a Health Canada cannabis licence. Nothing on this site is an offer of any product.
