HTC Technologies — Technology & Intellectual Property

HTC Technologies

HTC Technologies is the group’s engineering and intellectual-property division. It designs the device platforms and is the division designated to hold and license the intellectual property behind them.

Its work spans device engineering, electronics and firmware, software and automation, and data and analytics. It also keeps the group’s interactive engineering and planning models, version-controlled and documented.

Devices are to be designed from the outset against the recognized external standards they will be tested to, and their performance is described in measured, engineering terms — never as a medical or therapeutic claim.

Technologies designs; HTC Manufacturing builds. Keeping the intellectual property in one division is meant to let it be governed on its own terms.
